We welcome the establishment of the network of experts on telemedicine BRICs and the results of the three meetings of experts in Brazil, India and Russia. We support the establishment of International Telemedicine Community with support of network of experts. This Community is uniting experts BRICS are developing the Project “Integrated compatible telemedicine systems in BRIC countries regions”. The Project is socially and economically important for the sustainable development of our countries.
We support the "Appeal of the Experts Working Group on BRICS Telemedicine to the Government of India – BRICS Chairman in 2016-2017” was taken at the IT Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk (Russia). The document contains the request to include the question "Support the implementation of the Project "Integrated compatible telemedicine systems in regions of the BRICS" by the BRICS Governments” in the program of the Summit of the BRICS-2016. We support the recommendation for the New Development Bank BRICS allocate funding for implementation of the Project.

The network of experts of the BRICS was established under the theme "Building integrated compatible telemedicine systems in BRICS regions". The expert group from Russia are members of the Network. Russian experts have created a Russian Telemedicine Consortium, uniting representatives of scientific, educational and industrial partners.
There had been three meetings of the Working Group on telemedicine BRICS in Brazil, India and Russia. On the initiative of Russian Telemedicine Consortium, comprising leading Russian organizations developing telemedicine system, at the expert meeting of the BRICS in Khanty-Mansiysk (Russia), 09.06.2016, the International Telemedicine Community (ITC) of BRICS was created. ITC will develop and implement the Project "Integrated compatible telemedicine systems in regions of BRICS countries” socially and economically important for the sustainable development of the countries of BRICS.
